On March 5 local time, coinciding with CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas, the United States, the 2027 Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition (CICEE 2027) held a promotional event in the United States.
The cross-border industry event not only provided the global market with an in-depth introduction to the latest developments and core strengths of CICEE 2027, but also launched an initiative to establish the International Alliance for Construction and Equipment Information Technology. This pioneering initiative represents an important step toward breaking down information barriers within the global industry and building a new ecosystem for international cooperation.
Representatives of industry associations, business leaders, and media organizations from China, the United States, India, Chile, South Korea, Türkiye, Austria, Spain, Indonesia, Germany, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries attended the promotional event.

The CICEE Organizing Committee presented the key highlights of CICEE 2027. The exhibition will be held from May 12 to 15, 2027, at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center and Changsha International Conference Center, with an expected total exhibition area of more than 300,000 square meters.
With a focus on “High-End, Intelligent and Green Development — Next-Generation Construction Machinery, Emergency Equipment, Mining Equipment, Agricultural Machinery and Transportation Equipment,” the exhibition will cover the entire industrial chain spanning infrastructure, emergency response, mining, agriculture and logistics, creating a global ecosystem for the broader equipment industry.
Five major exhibition zones — Construction Machinery, Mining Machinery, Emergency Equipment, Agricultural Machinery and Transportation Equipment — will work together to create a premier platform for industry showcasing, business cooperation and professional exchange.
According to the Organizing Committee, CICEE 2027 is expected to attract at least 2,000 exhibitors, including more than 400 equipment manufacturers. More than 70% of the world's Top 50 construction machinery companies are expected to participate in the exhibition and related events. The number of registered visitors is expected to exceed 150,000, with international professional visitor groups covering countries along the Belt and Road as well as major construction equipment markets around the world.

During the event, the Initiative on the Establishment of the International Construction Alliance was officially released.
The initiative proposes five key measures to build a global information-sharing network:
Regular international exchanges: Organize meetings and networking activities among alliance members during major international exhibitions to strengthen industry cooperation and connectivity.
Global public information platform: Establish a global platform to showcase member developments and share industry news and information.
Global Industry News Pool: Encourage members to share important local news, information and resources, creating a collaborative international news network.
Cross-border business cooperation: Support cross-border business representation among members and expand opportunities for cooperation and commercialization between media organizations.
Alliance Secretariat and regional centers: Establish a Secretariat within the CICEE Organizing Committee, together with regional centers across different continents and regions, to ensure the stable and long-term operation of the alliance.
The event also featured a centralized signing ceremony. The CICEE Organizing Committee signed cooperation agreements or letters of intent with a number of international organizations and media outlets, including the International Society for Intelligent Construction (United States), Chile Hongzhan, NBM Media Group (India), Korea Crane Association, and V22 Media Group (Italy).
The successful conclusion of the U.S. promotional event marks a new stage in the global promotion and international investment attraction campaign for CICEE 2027.
In the next phase, the Organizing Committee will organize a series of promotional events in key markets including India, Africa and Europe, further expanding the exhibition's international influence and working to build a world-class construction equipment event that brings together global expertise and helps shape the future of the industry.
